Attorney Profile
For over 20 years, attorney Michael P. McDeavitt has helped residents of Pleasanton and from all over the East Bay area with their family law and divorce issues. Michael has been certified as a Family Law Specialist by The State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization. He is a lawyer who sits as a judge pro tem with the Superior Court of California, Alameda County. His education and ongoing training in the areas of family law and divorce mediation allow him to address any issue that may arise during the divorce process.
Michael received a B.A. degree from the University of California at Berkeley and his law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Prior to practicing law he was a military intelligence officer in the U.S. Army in Germany. Mr. McDeavitt is a proud member of the 4th Infantry Regiment Veterans’ Association.
